The South Coast

TOUR INFORMATION

The South Coast is the most popular day tour I offer. Not surpricing since it offers a lot of different subject matter packed in a single day.

You will be able to photograph waterfalls, black sand beaches, cliffs and sea stacks, a glacier and even some old turf houses.

Along the South Coast we have the well known Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls. I will also take you to other less visited waterfalls that are just as nice to shoot.

We will also visit the famous black basalt sand beaches where you can play with short or long exposures and even search for the Puffins in summer (they leave Iceland in late August).

Depending on the time of year and how long we spend on each location we could also reach Sólheimajökull outlet glacier to experience a glacier up close.

There are companies offering guided glacier hikes - and if you feel that this is something you would like to experience I can check for availability during our tour. This added cost would be covered by you on site.

It's going to be a long and eventful day with a lot of photographic opportunities for sure.

PRICE

The South Coast Tour costs US$ 1.400 and the duration is from 8-12 hours depending on the time of year and weather conditions.

The price includes pick-up and drop-off where you stay, guiding and tutition, transport in my Land Rover Defender and fuel costs. Meals/drinks are not included.

My Land Rover seats up to four passengers but three will be more comfortable.
